Our Story

The Daily Spa started with a simple observation: we spend money on serums, masks and treatments, then rinse them off with water that works against them. UK tap water is treated with chlorine to keep it safe to drink — but that same chemical strips your skin's natural oils, breaks down hair keratin and vaporises into the air you breathe in a hot shower.

We partnered with BTYLAB, a specialist eco-friendly water technology company in South Korea with 30 years of R&D in shower and drinking water purification, to bring dermatological water treatment into the home. The result is the Vitamin Essence Shower Filter: two-stage filtration that removes rust, heavy metals and micro-plastics, then neutralises chlorine with pharmaceutical-grade Vitamin C while infusing Snail Mucin, Milk Protein, Trehalose and Tea Tree extract into the stream.

It installs on any standard UK shower hose in about 30 seconds, and each cartridge treats 7,200 litres of water — roughly 30 to 60 days for a family of four. Two scents, Honey Mango and Sky Blue Lemon, carry a fine botanical fragrance through the steam.
